Practical information for a stay at Mitjanas
- Mitjanas is located well within an hour’s drive from the AP7 highway linking to the ‘Autoroute du Soleil’. The town of Girona is included in the international TGV network with direct connections to e.g. Paris. The international airports of Girona and Barcelona offer cheap car rentals as well as public transport links to local buses servicing the two nearby villages where we can meet.
- Prepayment is possible by bank transfer. Payment on site is only possible in cash or by internet bank transfer with direct confirmation.
- Our place is not suitable for parties.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Your stay at Mitjanas is at your own risk. Note that there are interior and exterior steps, irregular floors and some low beams, which may be a challenge to people with disabilities.
- Please do not smoke inside the house or (because of fire risk) in the woods.
- Check-in & out: arrival between 1600 and 1930, departure before 1100.
- If you travel by public transport, we can pick you up at a bus stop in Sant Esteve de Llémena or Les Planes d’Hostoles.
- If you travel by car, access to our site from the main road is by a moderately rough 1.5km forest track. It is passable by small vehicles without problem, but do drive carefully. To drop off or pick up your luggage, you can drive to the main terrace next to the house. To maintain the rural atmosphere, we ask you to use our parking lot about 150m from the house during your stay. Once the reservation is made, we will send you a more detailed description of the route including GPS coordinates.
- There is a good WiFi connection in the living room and some of the bedrooms, mobile phone services (Movistar and Orange) cover the house and most of the surroundings.
- We have cats, a dog and several chickens roaming around. None of them are allowed in the rooms and only cats may enter the main house.
- Bring some sunscreen and mosquito repellent during summer and autumn.
- We have drinks and snacks available (with honesty box).
